Steven had to work, so we sent him texts & email greetings through the day & were ready to celebrate him when he got home!
He had a softball game, so we dined light (birthday boy's request) on sandwiches and chips, and then serenaded him to the candlelight of homemade (& frozen quite hard--like chip your tooth hard) ice cream sandwiches.
Whitney didn't understand the presents were FROM her, Audra, & Colby instead of TO them, so after a little whining, she helped open gifts...I think she understood more after seeing the shoes and cologne. :)
Overall, a nice family party. We plan on going out with friends this weekend to celebrate & he had a celebration at his parents' this past weekend, so he should feel nice & loved!
