I am (slightly) behind on this post. Whitney celebrated a princess birthday the 20th of May. It is hard to believe our precious baby is already three years old! She is a sassy little firecracker who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to tell you! She's also a sweetheart who loves cuddling and is quite maternal and loving to all babies, but especially HER baby (Colby). I am amazed at her daily...for such a little package, she is full of life, love, excitement, and wonder.
Whitney LOVES going to church...she asks me nearly every day if we can go and gets super-excited when the answer is "yes".
She loves popsicles and "rac-a-roni" and cheese.
Her favorite animal is the "ef-a-lant".
She loves the color pink.
She always wants gum.
She loves all things princess.
She likes singing and listening to music...Jesus Loves Me is her favorite.
She never turns down a chance to play outside.
She also asks to go on walks (where she wants to ride her tricycle) multiple times each day.
She can navigate an iPad and iPhone better than most adults.
She knows her ABC's.
She can count to ten.
She will tell you her name is "Nit-Nee Brooke Wheelis" and her birthday is "May 20th".
She wears size 4T and size 11 shoes.
She goes to bed after a bedtime story and tucking in around 8:30 each evening.
She wakes by 7:15 almost every morning, often waking the whole house before then!
At her well-check visit, she weighed 39 lbs and was 39 inches--above the 90% for both.
She is just beginning to watch television, and she loves the movie Tangled and Mickey Mouse (on Disney channel in the early morning).
She will randomly hug, kiss, and tell us (her family), "I luv you."
She totally DISLIKES time out, being told "no", and the dreaded spanking spoon.
Whitney is a daily reminder to me of God's goodness and love. How blessed we are to have this special girl, whom is both a little sister and big sister, in our lives!
